The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) located in Battle Creek, Michigan utilized WRQ, Hummingbird, and Netsoft to connect to the host mainframe. The DLA requested a network-engineering plan that would consolidate their existing mainframe host emulation packages into a single user interface.
IAS installed a single Host Access Server to configure and interconnect 2500 viewers for desktop units. The solution ensured that all desktops are migrated according to the standards established by the customer.
IAS also facilitated the migration of the multiple legacy mainframe emulation, and remained on site to assist the customer with this more efficient and productive system.
